CEC Publisher may process account identity returned by connected platforms, authorization tokens, user-selected media, publishing metadata, and processing/readback status.

Purpose

Information is used to authenticate authorized accounts, let users confirm the destination account and publishing settings, send user-approved content, and confirm the publishing result.

Passwords and credentials

CEC Publisher does not request social-account passwords. Authorization is performed through official platform authorization mechanisms. Sensitive authorization material is not placed in public evidence packages.

Sharing

Information is shared only with service providers necessary to complete the user-requested publishing workflow, including the destination social platform and required infrastructure providers. Personal data is not sold.

Retention and revocation

Operational data is retained as needed for publishing, diagnostics, and continuity. Users can revoke platform access through the connected platform's account settings.

Security practices

The desktop application uses operating-system-protected local secret storage where supported and separates credentials from public logs and evidence.
