2. Information we process
2.1 TikTok account information
When you authorize TikTok through Login Kit, CEC Publisher may receive information permitted by the scopes you approve, including identifiers such as open_id, display name, avatar information, and other basic identity fields returned within the approved user.info.basic scope.
2.2 Authorization information
The TikTok OAuth flow provides authorization material such as access and refresh tokens. For the current Windows desktop integration, this material is stored locally using Windows-protected storage so the application can perform user-authorized API requests.
2.3 Content and publishing information
When you choose to publish, CEC Publisher processes the media file you selected and the publishing metadata needed for the action, such as title/caption data, privacy choices, interaction settings, file size, and destination account information. Media is transferred only after you initiate a publishing or draft-upload action.
2.4 Operational and diagnostic information
CEC Publisher may create local operational evidence containing non-secret technical information such as timestamps, processing status, publishing identifiers, media hashes, error codes, and result states. Access tokens and refresh tokens are not intentionally included in public evidence bundles.

If you email us, we process the information you include in your message and related correspondence so we can respond to your request.
2.6 Website technical data
This website is delivered by infrastructure providers that may process standard request information such as IP address, browser/device data, timestamps, and security logs as necessary to deliver and protect the site. Revoking a platform authorization does not affect processing that was lawful before revocation.

TikTok processes information under its own terms and privacy practices. CEC Publisher does not control TikTok's independent processing.
6. Storage and security
For the current Windows desktop TikTok integration, authorization secrets are stored locally using Windows-protected storage. CEC Publisher is designed to separate credentials from public logs and evidence. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Retention
- OAuth authorization material may remain locally until you revoke access, remove local CEC Publisher data, or the authorization expires.
- Local operational evidence may remain on the device/storage selected by the user until it is deleted by the user or operator.
- Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain a record of the interaction, meet security needs, or comply with law.
- Infrastructure-provider logs are retained according to the provider's operational and legal requirements.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal information we control. You may:
- revoke TikTok authorization through TikTok's connected-app/account controls;
- remove local CEC Publisher authorization and evidence data from your device;
