CEC Publisher is a desktop application that helps creators connect authorized social accounts, review short-form media and publishing settings, explicitly approve each write, and track the result through supported platform APIs.
What CEC Publisher does
Official account authorization
Connected accounts use the destination platform's official OAuth or authorization experience. CEC Publisher does not ask users to enter their social-account password into the application.
Pre-publish review
Before a content write, the user can confirm the destination account, selected media, privacy level, and interaction settings returned by the connected platform.
Explicit publishing actions
Publishing is initiated by the user. CEC Publisher does not silently publish media in the background and does not blindly repeat an ambiguous remote write.
Processing status
After a user-approved upload, the application reads the provider's processing status so the creator can see whether the request completed, entered a draft/inbox flow, or failed.
TikTok integration
CEC Publisher uses TikTok's official developer products for the TikTok publishing workflow:
Login Kit
user.info.basic is used to display the authorized TikTok account identity so the creator can confirm the destination account.
Direct Post
video.publish is used for creator-approved Direct Post. CEC Publisher queries creator information first and uses only the privacy and interaction options TikTok returns for that creator.
Upload to TikTok
video.upload is used when the creator chooses to send a video to TikTok's Inbox editing flow as a draft for further editing/posting in TikTok.

Authorize the destination account through the provider's official flow.
Confirm
Verify the connected creator identity and available provider settings.
Review
Select the media and review the privacy and interaction choices before publishing.
Approve
Explicitly confirm the publishing action or draft upload.
Track
Read back processing status and preserve a non-secret operational result.
Privacy and security by design
No social passwords
CEC Publisher relies on official authorization mechanisms rather than collecting a creator's TikTok password.
Protected local tokens
For the current Windows desktop TikTok integration, OAuth secrets and refresh material are stored locally using Windows-protected storage. They are not intentionally written to public evidence bundles.
User-controlled media
Selected media is transferred only after a user starts a publishing or draft-upload action. The current TikTok flow uses file upload to TikTok's official Content Posting API.

Does CEC Publisher post automatically?
No. The publishing flows shown here require an explicit user action before a content write is sent.
Can I connect someone else's account?
Only accounts you are authorized to access may be connected. The account holder must complete the platform's official authorization flow.
Does CEC Publisher sell personal data?
No. CEC Publisher does not sell personal data. See the Privacy Policy for data-processing details.
How do I revoke TikTok access?
You can revoke connected-app access through TikTok account settings. You may also remove local CEC Publisher credential data from your device.
